Hello everyone! With less than a month until lift off, I've had a lot of requests to keep people up to date with my upcoming adventure. As I haven't done a blog before, I thought I'd better figure out the technology prior to leaving for the trip.
I'll do a few posts before heading off, but once I head out this will be my primary means of communication. I hope you'll enjoy the adventures of India and Nepal!
This is a fabulous idea!! Am planning on making this my homepage once you lift off. Rachel said you were going to Everest base camp. I'm an Everest-nut. Seriously, I read everything I can find about it. So excited for you.
Thanks guys, I love getting comments. Sandy - I have an overwhelming urge to stomp my feet, say "you're not the boss of me" and leave it at that. the other part of me says to dust off your chiffon... Danielle - I promise to write about it all! Thrilled to know I'll have regular readers! Paul - clearly, you have a project for while I'm away Keep the comments coming!!!!!!!
Wow, Everest sounds so awesome! I will climb my mount Everest (laundry pile, that is) in memory of you while you climb yours! Have fun Les and keep safe!! pammy
Hey Lester, I'll look forward to witnessing the glamour bedazzle as the trip unfolds, hehe. One man's fashion statement...another man's chakra enlightenment. Namaste, Shelley
When I first started telling people that I was going to India & Nepal for two months, I received many different reactions. One that I found to be rather entertaining was a colleague who commented "Wow, you work in tv & film, you travel around the world, you're life is so glamourous...".
Glamourous... I have viewed my life in many ways - but "glamourous" has never been a word to come to mind, especially when I'm travelling.
Maybe it is glamourous, maybe I'm completely delusional. I know I've always considered myself very fortunate to travel, as I've seen a good chunk of North America, Europe, Africa & South East Asia. Exotic perhaps, but glamourous?
So I've decided that this trip will be my official "glamour tour". An opportunity for all to see just how glamourous my life really is : ) Enjoy!
hey I think this blog is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteNow if only we could teach Hudson to read!

The glamour tour! Why wasn't I consulted with name? Now I feel as though I will be doing a Madonna tour through India and Nepal!
